Seychelles again.

Last year my pal Steve Pitts had a fantastic trip to the Seychelles. It was so good that he arranged a repeat excercise in October of this year. If anything the fishing was even better than in 2006 and he's sent me one or two pictures just to warm you up on a cold November day.

If you have any comments or questions about fish, methods, tactics or 'what have you.'get in touch with me by sending an E-MAIL to - docladle@hotmail.com

Tropical paradise!

As well as fishing from the boat the lads did a fair bit of spinning and fly fishing from wonderful beaches like this.'

Whale shark.

Steve says he could have leaned out and touched this amazing creature.'

He's in.

Steve's heavy spinning rod well bent. He says that after ten or fifteen minutes tussle with one of these fish you wonder why you're doing it.'

Bluefin trevally.

Even if it wasn't a hard fighting 'jack' the colours make it an amazing catch.'

Giant trevally

Murat landed this monster by spinning from the shore and Steve took the picture.'

Another GT.

This was Steve's biggest GT and the picture was taken by Austen Goldsmith. When Steve saw the fish coming to attack the popper he was almost paralysed and stopped winding.'

Yellowfin.

At one point they were hooking these huge fish in only 15ft of water.'
